We produce solid strips 22mm in a lot of different type of woods. For our native type of woods we mainly us round timber with PEFC-Zertificate.
It takes around 2 years from cutting the logs up to the finished strips. The cutted logs are stored in the forrest up to 1 year. After this time we cut the logs to timber with different gradings and thicknesses. This happens in our sawmill. The timber which will be used for solid strips we stack the timber and let it airdry for 6-9 month. After this time we cut the timber to raw strips and let them airdry for another 3-4 month. After then we have to dry the strips in the drying chamber for about 4 week to get the moisture to 7-11%.
Before we can produce the solid strips we stock the dry strips in a special climatic chamber. Now we can start the production.
